So, I have forsaked Xanga. Sorry about that...I really should start making more updates because I know there are a few people who find this thing interesting. I'm sorry that I don't read your journals anymore...I know, I know...blame it on myspace ok? Anyway, it's a new year. We have been in our house a year now. When we first moved in, we decided to paint the living room walls a pretty red (much like this text color) and paint the ceiling a nice gold color. We saw the color scheme on HGTV and really liked it. However, Josh picked out the gold color. It's not that it was all that bad on the color strip (it actually looked nice), but when we got it up on the ceiling, it looked like baby mess or something. So, after a year of not being happy with the color of it, he decided to change the color to like an egg white or something of that sort. It actually came out nice and the room is a lot brighter now. Not only that, but I told Josh that it would make the room look bigger if he switched the couch and everything around and put it along the other wall (our house is *small*) So, we switched the room around and now it looks bigger. Moving on though... This year, I am really focusing on trusting God more. I am not worrying about stupid, ignorant comments people make, but rather, I am concerning myself with what God thinks of me. I think one of the most important things that a Godly man looks for is that the woman he is interested in loves God, and concerns herself with Him rather than what others think of her. Josh says that that's one of the things that attracted him to me. Somewhere while being together with Josh though, I forgot that. I would worry too much about what others thought. This year, I am trying to stay focused on God rather than concerning myself with what others think. I may go update Josh's xanga for him. He hasn't actually had a real update in forever...I have been updating for him every so often... to think Xanga is how we met (plus the P.O.D. message board first) and then now that we are married, it all went out the window. LOL how horrible haha I guess that's it for now...have a good day to whoever reads this |
